Sunflowers

For girl's camp 2010, sunflowers were our logo.  I loved researching and learning about sunflowers and their meanings and symbolisms.  I will never look at a sunflower the same again. 

Sunflowers represent: adoration, bright & cheery, bold, yet comfortable, caring, constancy, faith, happiness, longevity, love, loyalty, pride, pure thoughts, strength, sunshine, and warmth.

Sunflowers are a solo flower...they stand alone.  Just like we need to stand alone at times.

Just like the sunflower turns to follow the sun in the sky, and we need to turn and follow The Son of God.
