Campfire time

Campfires and camping go hand-in-hand.
 Lindsey, Aspen, & Trent
Ryan & Kathi
Russell & Judy
Grilled cheese sandwich over the campfire.  What a brilliant idea!
Yummy banana boats!
Brothers: Kyle and Ryan.

Settling in

Uncle Kyle brought his hammock and quickly set it up.  Everyone enjoyed it.
 Aspen, Bronco, and Bayli
Hmm, does Kyle have any clothes on?  It sure doesn't look like it.
Kathi and Lindsey sure enjoyed their time relaxing and visiting in these comfy chairs.
Ryan had a great time target shooting.
Setting up camp must have wore right out Lacey.
I LOVE the outdoors and I LOVE being with my family.
Good food and camping go hand-in-hand.  Food always taste better in the great outdoors.
I love this little guy and his many expressions.
Bayli and Aspen had fun climbing this tree.  It had a cool little fort at the bottom.
Lacey was enjoying the scenery.
Four-wheelin' time.

Yikes...a snake

Shortly after we arrived in camp, Trent found a longggg snake.  Of course everyone (well, almost everyone) wanted to take a turn hold it.  Yuck, not me though.
Trent's holding his new find.
W's turn.  Bronco wanted to touch the snake.
 Next in line is Ryan.
Kyle is liking this too much for my comfort.
Lacey was brave and wanted to hold the snake too...even around her neck.  It moved a little too much for her comfort though.
Kyle is helping Lacey...what a nice brother.
Lindsey wanted a turn too.  I don't get it.

Meeting place...Vernal Temple

We met up with Ryan and Kathi and their family at the Vernal Temple on our way to Flaming Gorge.
Uncle Kyle an Aspen have fun while we wait for Bayli and Bronco to show up.
Brotherly and sisterly love...it's the best!
Bayli, Aspen, and Bronco...cousins are great!

This is the Place

For our mutual activity we went to the This is the Place Heritage Park.  I love anything that has to do with the pioneers.
Lacey, Hanna, Judy, Ashley, Marianne, Taylor, Gail, Bodi, Melinda, Heather, Dana, & Katie.
This was such a neat thing to observe.  Heather (in the yellow shirt) starting giving Lacey (in the green shirt) a back massage.  So then, Dana (who is autistic) joined in and started giving Heather a back massage too.  This brought so much joy to those who saw this happening.  It's the little things in life that matter and bring such great joy.
I remember my parents bringing me here as a youth.  I love the feeling here.
This is the Place.
