As Merrill siblings we wanted to get together for a weekend with each other, our spouses, Dad, and Lila. Not everyone was able to make it...hopefully next time they will be able to though. We had a good time with one another. Family is the best!
Destination: The Allen’s “Hideaway” Houseboat on Lake Roosevelt in Arizona.
Those in attendance: Dad, Ernie & Barb, Mark & Debbie, Joe, Sam & Carolyn, Scott & Barbara, & Judy.
Friday Activities: Gathering at the houseboat, visiting, eating rosemary chicken and red potatoes, and playing Conversation Cards.
Saturday Activities: A visit to the Doll Baby Ranch with a picnic lunch included, saying good-bye to Barb, Joe, Sam, and Carolyn, movies, visiting, and eating Café Rio Style Burritos.
Sunday Activities: Sacrament meeting at the Tonto Basin Branch, eating leftovers, a drive on the Apache Trail Road, and arriving at the Allen’s home.
P.S. I can’t forget to mention that we all enjoyed the Costco Chocolate Cake and Red Vine Licorice. Yummy!
